Pesoloan (pesoloan.app) is an independent information and comparison website. This page explains, in plain terms, how the website may earn money, so that you can read our content with full information.

The short version

Some links on this website go to third-party lenders or lender-related services. If you click a link and then apply for or take a loan with that third party, we may receive compensation from them. You pay nothing extra, and the price, rate or terms you are offered do not change because you came from our website. This does not affect our independent assessments, how we describe a lender or the order in which we present information.

How the links work

What compensation does not change

How we choose which lenders to list

Our home page lists several online lenders so that readers can compare loan amounts and basic details. We consider factors such as whether the lender is a real, identifiable business, the published loan range and age requirements, the clarity of its published information and whether it is available to borrowers in the Philippines. A lender's inclusion is not an endorsement or a promise that you will be approved, and the amount you are offered may differ from the range shown. We encourage you to run your own check on any lender, using our guide on how to check if a lending app is SEC registered.

We are not affiliated with the Pesoloan app or with Masaganang Buhay Finance Philippines Corporation. Our articles about that app are independent, and nothing in them is paid for by the company.

Why we disclose this

Readers have a right to know when a website might benefit from their clicks. Disclosure also helps you judge our content fairly. Independent comparison websites have costs, including research time, hosting and tools, and this kind of compensation is one way those costs can be covered. We believe that explaining it openly is better than leaving readers to guess.

Your choices

Borrow carefully

Whichever route you take, remember that taking a loan is a serious commitment. Before you apply:

  1. Check that the company is registered and that the specific app is recorded with the SEC.
  2. Read the disclosure statement and find the total amount you will repay, the due dates and the penalty for late payment.
  3. Review the permissions the app asks for, and deny those you do not need.
  4. Borrow only what you can repay from your income.
  5. Keep screenshots of the terms and every payment receipt.

Our guides on online lending scam red flags and debt collection rules and your rights explain what to watch for and where to report problems.

Not advice and no guarantee

Listings on this website are for information. They are not offers, and we do not guarantee approval, a particular rate or any result. Our disclaimer and terms of use explain the limits of what we publish.

Complaints and questions

If you have a question about how this website is funded, or you believe that something on our pages has been influenced by a commercial relationship, please tell us. Write to admin@pesoloan.app or use our contact page. We take such concerns seriously and will review the page in question.

Changes to this page

We may update this page when our practices change. The version shown here is the current one.

Our commitment

We would rather lose a click than mislead a reader. Our aim is for every page on Pesoloan to be useful whether or not you ever use a link on it. If you find a page that does not meet that standard, we want to hear about it and fix it. Transparency about money is part of being a source people can trust, and we will keep this page current so that you always know where we stand.

What this means for a typical reader

Imagine you read our article about how to pay a lending app, then use our home page to compare lenders, and finally click a button to apply with one of them. In that case, the lender may pay us a fee if you complete certain steps. You would not pay more, the lender would not see a different offer because of us and our article would read the same way whether or not that lender paid us. If you instead decide not to borrow, because the numbers do not work for you, that is a good outcome too, and we are glad when our pages help you reach it. A careful decision not to borrow is often the best financial decision a person can make.
